Elementary Student Life

Chapel

Chapel Fellowship is an important part of campus life at CCCS. Students are required to attend chapel and are expected to come desiring God to minister to them.

The goal of Chapel is to teach the Word of God in such a way that our students can apply it to their lives. At all levels of the school ministry, it is our supreme desire that the children would personally know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, and that they would live in a way that reflects this truth. This is achieved through the teaching of God’s Word.

If there is anything we desire and pray for, it is that our students would have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The CCCS faculty and staff have been called to this very task. In Chapel, we want Christianity and the Bible to come alive in the lives of our students. Teachers, please pray that your students will be receptive to God’s message.

Reading Program

Calvary Chapel Christian School is blessed and privileged to provide this premiere service to our students.  Scientific Learning products are used by many educational and learning specialists around the nation to assist students in improving their reading comprehension and fluency through the use of neuroscience. When a student has difficulty reading a word, Reading Assistant intervenes by pronouncing the word if the student does not self-correct.
After completing a passage, questions measure literal and inferential comprehension.
Reading Assistant uses the best practices of guided oral reading instruction, the gold standard for building fluency.

JV Basketball

Junior Varsity basketball begins in the Spring and is open to upper elementary students.
